Often the answers we provide to data questions are devoid of the context behind the question that was asked in the first place. Many times the response to our answer is simply another, more specific data question. In this session participants will learn how to leverage tools in R, including R Markdown and R Shiny, to move from providing answers to helping data users better ask their own questions.
Please note: You will need to install both R and RStudio before arriving to the session. You can install R by going to
www.r-project.org and RStudio by going to
www.rstudio.com. We also recommend you install some of the packages that we will be using in the session ahead of time. You can do so by running the following code in R: install.packages(c("shiny", "shinyWidgets", "tidyverse", "flexdashboard", "plotly", "ggthemes", "devtools")).
